KGIC™ DRX Solution is designed to stably extract DNA and RNA that can be applied directly to PCR and RT-PCR in a simple and fast way. Nucleic acids can be extracted by mixing samples(liquid samples stored in sample presesrvation solution, transpot medium, PBS, or solid sample such as small amount of tissues, cotton swabs) with DRX solution without any other processing, and incubation for 5 minutes at room temperature. Extracted Nucleic acids can be directly applied to various experiments bases on PCR.

The kit contains a specific ready-to-use system for the detection of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) by probe-based reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification method. The master contains a Super Mix for the specific amplification of virus RNA. The reaction is done in probe one step real time RT-LAMP. The first step is a reverse transcription (RT), during which the virus RNA is transcribed into cDNA. Afterwards, a thermostable DNA polymerase (Bst) is used to amplify the specific gene fragments by means of loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP). KGIC™ COVID-19 Antigen(Ag) Kit si a rapid and convenient immune-chromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of COVID-19 antigen(Viral nucleoprotein) from nasal swab, nasopharyngeal swab obtained from patient with signs and symptoms of respiratory infection. The device is designed to aid in the rapid differential diagnosis of COVID-19 Virus infection.
Insert a sterile swab into the nostril of the patient, swab over the surface of the posterior nasopharynx. Insert the swab into an extraction buffer tube and stir the swab more than 10 times. Remove the swab while squeezing the well of the tube and close the nozzle cap.
Apply5 drops of extracted specimen to the specimen well of the test device.
Read the results in 10 to 20 minutes.
A pink colored band appears only at the control region (C), indicating a negative result for COVID-19 Infections.
A clear pink control band (C) and a detectable test band (T) appears, indicationg a positive result for COVID-19 Infections.
No visible band appears at the control region. Repeat with a new test kit. If the test still fails, please contact the distributor with the lot number.
